The new version of our Steam Inventory API gives you much more comprehensive pricing to make it easier to analyze the market trends and better estimate the real value of your items.

New available metrics:

You will get this data for:

We have also added soldtotal, which returns the total number of items sold for an inventory item.

This extended capability will be very useful for a user analyzing CS2 inventories, Dota 2 inventories, Rust inventories, and many more.

Batch Inventory Api Endpoint – Bulk Requests in a single API Request

We are happy to introduce the new batch request endpoint to smoothen your API call experience.
The all-new feature will let you fetch up to 10 inventories with one API request thus reducing the requirement for multiple requests.

Benefits of the new bulk inventory request:
Faster data retrieval
Reduced overhead in API call count, handle large inventory requests more gracefully. ???? Note: The rate limits remain the same. Each inventory in a batch response is 1 credit, just like before.

This is a huge enhancement for developers using the Steam Inventory APIs, especially with inventories stemming from games such as CS2, Dota 2, Rust, and many others.

Why This Update Matters to Developers

This update will make your integrations around Steam inventories faster and more efficient if you're building apps or services.

It enables you to pull multiple inventories using one request, hence saving time and optimizing API usage.

Your power to fetch data from CS2, Dota 2, or Rust-our Steam Inventory API-is even now more articulate and flexible.
